Blurred lines.

Just heard an advert on the radio for O2 which made me screw up my face like discarded office copier paper.

Flogging their latest and greatest plan with shed loads of data, blah blah blah.

It was some London yoof with a massively exaggerated accent, and speaking aloof like only Gen Z could relate to.

OK, whatevs. But here’s the thing…

At the end of the ad, there’s then a disclaimer voiced in a posh snobby accent. Company Ts and Cs, the typical stuff you glaze over at.

And it got me thinking.

If you’re going to use a particular tone of voice or messaging in your business, then surely it makes sense to ensure it’s consistent throughout?

This lends more credibility and makes you more trustworthy.

Don’t be full of hot air, like O2.
